What is Caminata?

Caminata de Colores is a school-wide color walk around Ada where kids get t-shirts and dress crazy and colorfully! Parents are invited and encouraged to join, and together we create a rainbow of fun through Ada. There will also be music and snacks and lots of smiles, including a colorful surprise for the 4th graders at the end of the route. We do this to promote fitness, our community and to raise money for our PTO! Families and friends donate what they can to support their student and to support PTO throughout the year.

Traditionally families have been able to make a donation to provide a fun, encouraging sign for their children that is displayed during the Caminata walk. This is optional but a fun way to support your child! For a suggested donation of $100, or a monthly donation of $8 (or more), you will be able to make one large yard sign for your kids that we'll put up at school and you get to keep! We welcome all families to create a sign, regardless of donation amount. You will be directed to link for signs after you check out.
